Bangalore, being India's Silicon Valley, has a lot of techies and budding UXers (a large percentage of whom are male). This group was founded in May 2016 by Prakrithy Pradeep and Preethi Guruswamy, as they were passionate about advocating diversity in the workplace and bringing together the growing community of womxn and non-binary folx in UX. Since then, we have been hosted by organizations like Target, Google, Myntra, Calm.io.

Now run by Prakrithy, Namrata, Nida and Sharanya, Hexagon Bangalore aims to encourage gender diversity amongst UXers. Through a combination of talks, workshops, meet-and-greets, and discussions, we bring the topic of gender diversity, equality, and their relevance in design and technology to the forefront. Join us to network with other folx in UX, and learn more about UX, both design and research!
